This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the State of Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for the fabrication of a work boat to be used at the Indian Lake State Park Dredge located in Lakeview, Ohio. The boat is needed to transport employees, tools, and parts for weed harvesting operations. The specifications include a steel boat measuring 13'6" x 5', with 6 air tanks, 2 lockable tool boxes, floor support, and additional motor mount support. The total project cost, including materials and labor, is requested. Bids are due by June 15, 2024, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a bid, and failure to do so may result in being unable to be released from the contract.
The contract will be awarded based on the lowest total bid, determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage and adding the totals. Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprises (VBE) are eligible for a 5% pricing preference, and Buy Ohio and Buy American preferences are also enabled. The contract is funded by the ODNR and invoices must be submitted directly to Ohio Shared Services. The contract is valid through June 30, 2024, and a new purchase order will be required for any goods or services received after that date.
