The County is seeking offers from third-party firms to purchase, load, and haul all decked timber from the park, which was rendered hazardous due to the Beachie Creek Wildfire in September 2020. The timber is expected to consist of approximately 90% sawlogs and 10% pulp. The RFO outlines the requirements for the successful offeror, including providing proof of automobile liability insurance and coordinating with the County on the pickup, loading, and hauling of the timber. Payment to the County will be based on the actual quantities of sawlogs and pulp as determined by destination log scaling reports, and is due within 30 days of the County's invoice.
