CALIBRATION LAB EQUIPMENT

Objective of the Acquisition

The Missouri Army National Guard’s (MOARNG) Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD) is seeking to purchase a Torque Tools Test and Calibration System. The system is needed to calibrate mission essential tools used to repair airframes at the 1107th AVCRAD. The AVCRAD is in the process of setting up a torque calibration lab in Springfield Missouri. This will allow the 475 torque tools and 20 transducers to be tested and calibrated within the AVCRAD facility instead of shipping to an outside facility to reduce shipping costs and delays.

CLIN 001: Torque Tools Test and Calibration System (1 each)

Salient Characteristics:

a) Vendor must be the manufacturer or an authorized distributor of the product.

b) System must be brand new; not refurbished or rebuilt.

c) System must be a “Bench Top” type with digital display.

d) System must have the capability of testing 5-to-600-foot ls. of torque.

e) System must have the capability of testing 3-to-60-inch lb. of torque.

f) System must have the capability of testing 5-to-50-inch oz. of torque.

g) System must accommodate 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch, and 3/4-inch drives.

h) System must be capable of testing torque screwdrivers.

i) System must be capable of testing torque watches.

j) Vendor must offer training on proposed system.

Any product offered must meet the above objective of the acquisition. Items that do not meet all the salient characteristics, while still meeting the objective of the acquisition, may still be submitted for a technical review. The government retains the sole right to determine technical acceptability of an offer, and to reject any offer it deems does not meet the objective and/or characteristics.
