About this file

This is a Purchase Description and related Sources Sought notice for an automated cell dissociation apparatus required by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), Laboratory of Neurogenetics. The requirement specifically calls for an S2 Genomics Singulator 100 Cell Dissociation Platform (PART# 100067764) for single nuclei isolation from human and mouse brain tissues, to support research on neurodegenerative diseases including ALS, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's.

The equipment must be bench-top compatible, use single-use cartridges, and provide reproducible tissue dissociations into single-cell or nuclei suspensions. Key requirements include pre-set protocols, ability to process various cell types from rat/mouse/human tissues, and customizable software parameters. The Sources Sought notice, due January 17, 2025 at 3:00 PM ET, seeks responses from qualified small businesses to determine appropriate acquisition method and set-aside potential. Responses must be submitted electronically to Rashiid Cummins at NIH, limited to 10 pages, and include capability statements addressing technical requirements, company size status, and manufacturing location details. Delivery is required within 60 days post-award.
