About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC). The FDC is seeking to purchase a proprietary training curriculum from FranklinCovey Client Sales, Inc. that provides staff training and access to course-specific manuals for the "7 Habits on the Inside" program. The intended term of the contract is one (1) year. Prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the requested services by April 18, 2023.
The estimated dollar amount for the one-year term is $86,989.24. FranklinCovey is the only approved vendor that can provide the licensed training and all associated materials, as they have acquired the copyrights for the course-specific participant manuals, profiles, and assessments. The FDC believes this program will benefit the department by restructuring inmate thought processes, providing a structured mentoring program to reduce recidivism, and increasing positive interaction between staff and the inmate population.
