About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (Form PUR 7776) from the Florida Department of Commerce (Commerce) for FY24/25 Broadband ESRI Credits. The Office of Broadband is looking to procure a single-source contract with ESRI for 12 months of additional learning and service credits from September 2024 to August 2025. These credits will supplement staff bandwidth and knowledge to complete defined activities, specifically the BEAD Challenge Process, a prerequisite for BEAD funding. The agency has determined that the ESRI Enterprise Agreement Program is necessary and unique, as the ArcGIS software and proprietary geodatabase format are owned solely by ESRI.
The estimated dollar amount for this single-source contract is $205,200.00. The justification is that the ESRI Enterprise Agreement Program provides the mapping licenses, training, consultation, and support required to maintain awareness of existing and proposed broadband internet service assets in Florida. As the owner of both the ArcGIS software suite and the proprietary geodatabase format, ESRI is the sole source for this requirement.
