About this file

This document describes a single source purchase opportunity from the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) Early Steps Program to obtain the development of technical assistance materials and people-first/disability-friendly materials for the Early Steps Family Resource Specialists and families served by the program. The FDOH is seeking to purchase these services from the Family Network on Disabilities of Florida, Inc. for a 3-year period. The total estimated dollar amount is $2,100,000.

The FDOH has determined that the Family Network on Disabilities of Florida, Inc. is the sole provider eligible to deliver these services, as it has been designated by the US Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) as the sole provider within the state of Florida. The services are required to support the Early Steps Program, which is funded by a grant through OSEP under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
