About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Leica Statewide Equipment. The procurement is for one Leica GR50 Highline Reference Server with Accessories, to be purchased within a one-year term for the Office of Surveying and Mapping. The equipment will upgrade existing Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) antennas and receivers, allowing FDOT survey personnel to track additional satellite frequencies and constellations, thus taking advantage of new technological capabilities.
The estimated dollar amount for this single source purchase is $97,688.00, with Florida Level & Transit Co., Inc. identified as the sole authorized distributor for Leica Geosystems' High-end Surveying segment in Florida. The justification for the single source acquisition is based on the vendor's exclusive distribution rights for GNSS receivers, robotic surveying instruments, related field and office software, firmware, and CCP within the state. The procurement follows section 287.057(3)(c) of Florida Statutes and will be posted for at least 15 business days, with prospective vendors invited to provide information about their ability to supply the requested commodities or services.
