About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). FDOT is seeking to enter into a single source contract with International Cybernetics Company, LP (ICC) for three (3) Pavemetrics License and Support Packages. These licenses and support packages are required to collect Laser Crack Measurement System (LCMS) data and maintain updates to the sensors. The LCMS technology allows FDOT to collect detailed pavement condition data, including cracking, raveling, and rutting, as required by FDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The total estimated value of the contract is $40,500.00. FDOT has determined that ICC is the sole source capable of providing upgrades and maintenance services for its proprietary profilers and friction testers.
The contract will be awarded to ICC, as they are the sole vendor capable of providing the required products and services. The contract is intended to serve FDOT, as well as Leon County and the City of Tallahassee. The contract will remain posted for a minimum of 15 business days, as required by Florida Statutes, before FDOT proceeds with the single-source award.
