About this file
This is a single source procurement notice issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services regarding promotional advertising services for the "Fresh From Florida" brand. The department intends to enter into an agreement with Uber Technologies, Inc. to conduct advertising activities through an advertising agreement. The notice was published in accordance with statutory requirements mandating a 15-business-day advertisement period for single source procurements. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide comparable commodities or contractual services were required to submit relevant information to the contact person by October 8, 2026. The specific scope of work and detailed service requirements are contained in the attached document PUR 7776.
The notice does not provide explicit information regarding pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, funding sources, or other financial details within the summary. As a single source procurement notice rather than a competitive bid solicitation, this announcement serves as formal notification of the department's intent to award services to a single vendor without competitive bidding. Interested parties were given the opportunity to challenge the single source justification during the statutory notice period.
