About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of State. The agency is seeking to purchase a one-year subscription to various EBSCO serial titles including books, magazines, journals, and newspapers from EBSCO Publishing, Inc. The estimated value of the contract is $73,529.06 and the term is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The commodities or services are being procured through a single-source acquisition process as EBSCO is the sole provider of this particular serial titles package.
The justification for the single-source acquisition is that EBSCO provides the necessary interface to manage this volume of serial titles, and no other vendor can supply the same commodities or services. The purchase is intended to meet the requirements of Florida Statutes Chapter 257.04 (4) by providing resources for state employees and library staff to assist with work-related projects. Prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services.
