About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of State, Division of Library Information Services. The division is requesting to purchase a statewide subscription to the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) to supply public libraries with comprehensive materials for the 2022-2023 summer library program. The materials include posters, bookmarks, vinyl barriers, stand-up displays, book lists, reading records, reading certificates, newspapers, and bags. The commodities are available exclusively through CSLP, a national consortium of librarians. The purchase term is from the date of the purchase order issuance to June 30, 2023. The estimated dollar amount for the intended single source acquisition is $140,000.

The per unit pricing for the various products is provided, showing significant savings for CSLP members compared to non-member pricing. CSLP is a non-profit organization, and the Department of State's Division of Library Information Services represents Florida in the national consortium. The division has determined that the commodities are only available through CSLP, as it provides an exclusive contract to produce the materials designed for its subscribers.
