About this file

This is a procurement notice from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services regarding a single source agreement with Publix Super Markets, Inc. for the "Fresh from Florida" Grocery Retailer Marketing Program. The notice is provided in accordance with statutory requirements for a 15-business-day advertisement period. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide the commodities or contractual services described in the procurement must submit relevant information to the contact person listed in the advertisement no later than October 6, 2026. The procurement document references PUR 7776 for additional details regarding the specific commodities and contractual services to be procured.

The notice indicates this is a single source procurement, meaning the state intends to award the contract directly to Publix Super Markets, Inc. without competitive bidding, provided no other qualified vendors submit responsive proposals by the October 6, 2026 deadline. The "Fresh from Florida" program appears to be a marketing initiative focused on promoting Florida agricultural products through a major grocery retailer distribution channel. No specific pricing, contract term, renewal options, or funding source information is detailed in this notice, as it serves primarily as a statutory notification requirement rather than a detailed solicitation document.
