About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services. The document details a single-source procurement for an OCLC Bibliographic Database, with a planned purchase order issuance through 6/30/2026. The solicitation was posted on 7/2/2025, with the last day for receipt of information set for 7/28/2025, and covers an online database retrieval service with the UNSPSC code 81111902.

The estimated dollar amount for this procurement is $82,087.66, and the services will be exclusively purchased from OCLC Online Center Library Center, Inc. in Dublin, OH. The justification for the single-source acquisition is based on OCLC's attestation that they are the sole provider of these specific library services, which include cataloging technical assistance, access to shared cataloging, and resource sharing services. The procurement is grounded in Chapter 257.04(4) of Florida Statutes, which mandates that the Division maintain and provide research and information services for all state agencies.
