The contract is for brand promotion and sales activities, with a term from execution through June 30, 2026. The posting was made on 10/01/2025, with the last day for receipt of information set for 10/22/2025. The project supports the Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign as authorized in Section 571.24, Florida Statutes, which directs the Department to promote Florida agricultural commodities and related businesses.
The estimated contract value ranges from approximately $80,000 to $100,000, with Kroger selected as the sole source due to its unique control over retail and digital platforms. The justification highlights Kroger's exclusive ability to execute promotional activities, including planning and publishing weekly online sale flyers, producing print materials for delivery drivers, creating vendor-specific publications, and managing targeted advertising through Kroger's social media accounts and website.
