The document announces an intended single source purchase of upgrades and modifications to existing Drone Amplified-integrated Freefly Alta X aircraft. The upgrades include ignition hardware, onboard electronics, wiring architecture, software integrations, and ground control configuration modifications designed to enhance the Florida Forest Service's firefighting efforts against wildfires and support forest management practices in accordance with Chapter 590, Florida Statutes. The contract is posted for a mandatory 15-business-day advertisement period, with the last day for receipt of information from prospective vendors set for March 24, 2026, at 2:30 PM. The term of the contract extends from the date of execution through June 30, 2026. No bidders' conferences or site visits are specified in the notice.

The estimated dollar amount for this procurement is approximately $74,501.92. Drone Amplified, Inc. is identified as the sole source vendor capable of providing the required services because the company is the exclusive designer, integrator, and manufacturer of the specialized systems installed on these aircraft.
