About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) document from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, specifically for the Florida Forest Service. The document outlines a procurement for target or reconnaissance drones from Drone Amplified, Inc., with a contract term from execution through September 1, 2025. The procurement is for ground control software to support advanced mission planning, flight execution, and payload control for unmanned aerial systems, specifically aligned with the Florida Forest Service's responsibilities for wildfire prevention, detection, and suppression. The solicitation was posted on 04/29/2025 with a last day for receipt of information on 05/20/2025.
The estimated dollar amount for this single-source procurement is up to $400,000.00, with an approximate contract amount of $392,220.00. Drone Amplified, Inc. is identified as the sole source due to being the only known provider of the Astro Max drone, its parts, and accessories, with exclusive compatibility with IGNIS and other Drone Amplified products like the DA-Flight mission/flight planning app. The justification emphasizes that the combination of the Astro Max with the DA-Flight app provides mission-critical fire-specific functionality, and the required support is only available through this specific hardware purchase from Drone Amplified.
