About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The department is seeking to procure maintenance, support, repairs, parts, supplies, software licenses, and training for AB Sciex laboratory equipment used in its various laboratories. The estimated contract amount is up to $194,000.00, with an approximate current contract amount of $170,876.29, for the period from the date of execution through June 30, 2024. AB Sciex LLC is identified as the sole source for these services, as they are the manufacturer of the equipment and have the technical knowledge required to provide the necessary maintenance and support.
The document states that prospective vendors who believe they can provide these commodities or services should provide relevant information to the contact person listed by May 17, 2023. If it is determined that the services are available only from a single source, the department will post notice of its intended decision to enter into an agreement with AB Sciex LLC on the Vendor Bid System pursuant to Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes.
