About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Revenue. The Department of Revenue is seeking to procure a single 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 20 Ft Box Truck for the purpose of transporting pallets between the Department's Mailing Facility and the United States Post Office. The quantity required is one box truck, to be delivered upon receipt of the Purchase Order. The document is posted for a minimum of 15 business days, with the last day for receipt of information from prospective vendors being March 10, 2023.

The estimated dollar amount for the box truck is $85,396.00. The Department has determined that the required box truck is only available from a single source, Nimnicht Chevrolet Company in Jacksonville, Florida, due to supply chain issues and the lack of responses to a previous Invitation to Bid (ITB 22/23-26). The Department has taken all necessary steps to locate a suitable box truck meeting the specified requirements.
