About this file

This is a procurement justification document from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for a single source acquisition of Lake Guard® Oxy water treatment products and services. The procurement involves the supply and delivery of Lake Guard® Oxy, a proprietary water treatment solution, for application in Florida water bodies. The document serves as the statutorily mandated fifteen business day advertisement of the intended single source procurement, as required by Florida procurement regulations. No specific quantities, response dates, or contract term information is provided in the available documentation excerpt.

The single source justification is based on the proprietary nature of the Lake Guard® Oxy product and its specific performance characteristics for water treatment applications. The procurement appears to be driven by DEP's operational requirements for water quality management and environmental protection purposes. Pricing terms, funding sources, and contract value information are not detailed in the document summary provided. The single source determination indicates that competitive bidding was not pursued due to the unique specifications and performance requirements associated with this particular treatment technology.
