About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) document from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), specifically from the Division of Air Resource Management (DARM), Office of Air Monitoring (OAM). The document details a planned single-source procurement from Agilaire, LLC for software products, support, maintenance, equipment, repairs, and spare parts related to air quality monitoring. The procurement is for a twelve-month term, posted on March 31, 2025, with a last day for receipt of information on April 21, 2025. The specific items include upgrade kits for the Agilaire 8872 Data Acquisition System (DAS) to meet federal Clean Air Act requirements, which will increase CPU speed, double RAM and SSD space, support dual HDMI monitors, and include a TPM chip for Windows 11 support.
The estimated dollar amount for this single-source acquisition is $105,000.00. Agilaire is justified as the sole source provider because they are the exclusive point of supply and support for the Model 8872 data logger, AirVision, and related optional modules, including the Automatic Data Validation Processor, Asset and Work Item Tracking, Generic File Import Tool, and Precision and Accuracy Reporting modules. The company does not resell its software products or support through resellers or third parties, making it the exclusive provider of software upgrades, digital instrument drivers, maintenance, warranty, training, and support. The procurement supports Florida's statewide air monitoring network, which assesses air quality for almost 92 percent of the state's 19 million citizens.
