About this file
This is a quantity breakdown document for Pulaski County, Georgia's 2024-2025-2026 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) and Local Road Assistance (LRA) program, detailing resurfacing and road improvement work across six county roads totaling 13.62 miles. The project encompasses deep base patching, asphalt leveling, OGI (Open Grade Intermediate) leveling, resurfacing with 12.5mm Superpave, shoulder grading, milling at bridge approaches, pavement markings, thermoplastic stop bars, raised pavement markers, and permanent grassing. The six roads included are Bembry Road (2.53 miles), Davis Road (2.84 miles), Fourteen Lane Road (2.06 miles), Harmony Church Road (2.25 miles), Mock Springs Road (3.75 miles), and Lenora Drive (0.19 miles). Estimated material quantities include 1,503 tons of deep base patching, 1,300 tons of spot leveling, 13,214 tons of 12.5mm Superpave asphalt, 6,315 tons of OGI leveling, 16,210 gallons of bituminous tack coat, 26.86 linear miles of 5-inch white solid stripe marking, and 2,376 raised pavement markers.
The document provides detailed specifications for work execution, including variable-depth milling requirements at bridge approaches (minimum 50 feet), full paving of dirt road intersections to the end of radius, minimum 3-foot-wide driveway paving, and grassing calculations based on an 8-foot width on each side. All shoulders are to receive grading based on centerline miles, with the county noting availability of a dirt stockpile located off SR 230/Lower River Road near the Recreation Department (GPS coordinates 32.272401, -83.440860). Traffic control, marked as a lump sum item, is required for the entire project.

Notes
Variable depth milling will be required at all bridge approaches for a length of at least 50 feet but may be more as needed.
All dirt road intersections shall be cut out and paved to end of the radius and paid for under the deep base patching line item.
Spot leveling may be required in areas that OGI leveling thickness is not sufficient.
All driveways shall be paved a minimum of 3' wide to provide a smooth tie in. Dirt driveways shall be cut out prior to overlay.
Grassing is calculated assuming a 8' width each side over the length of the roads.
Quantity Per Road
Grading per mile will be performed on all roadway shoulders and based on centerline miles. Pulaski County has a stockpile of dirt just off of SR 230/Lower River Rd near
Recreation Dept. GPS Coordinates - 32.272401, -83.440860
