About this file
This document is a bid document from the Amesbury Department of Public Works (DPW) in Massachusetts for street tree replacement. The project seeks to procure five Gleditsia Triacanthos Inermis Halka Halka Thornless Honeylocust trees, with a 3"-4" caliper, to be delivered to the Amesbury DPW at 39 South Hunt Road by May 23, 2025. The trees will be used to replace damaged or missing trees in existing tree wells in Amesbury center, adhering to original streetscape style plans from the late 1990s. DPW staff will handle the installation, watering, and maintenance of the trees following delivery.
The bid document includes a space for pricing per tree and the total cost for five trees, indicating that vendors are expected to submit their pricing proposals. Contact information for Joseph W. Buckley, P.E., Director of the Municipal Development Center, is provided for potential inquiries. The document suggests a straightforward procurement process with a clear delivery timeline and specific tree specifications. No specific funding sources or budget allocations are detailed in the document, and the bid appears to be a standard municipal replacement and landscaping procurement effort.
