About this file

This document is a vendor registration and website instruction guide issued by the Carroll County Government Department of the Comptroller in Maryland for accessing contract opportunities through the Public Purchase platform. The guide provides step-by-step instructions for vendors to register with Public Purchase, navigate the Carroll County Government Purchasing Website, and locate bidding information for various projects. The document outlines procedures for both new vendor registration and access for already-registered vendors, including how to view project details, download documents, access bid tab sheets, review bid reading information, and locate closed and open bid opportunities. No specific contract details, timelines, site visits, or bidders' meetings are outlined in this instructional document, as it serves solely as a procedural guide for vendor engagement with the county's procurement platform.

This instructional document contains no pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, funding sources, or contract award amounts. The guide is intended as a reference tool to facilitate vendor participation in Carroll County Government procurement processes and does not address specific contract terms, renewal options, or financial requirements. Vendors requiring assistance with navigating the platform or locating specific project information are directed to utilize the chat feature available on the website or contact the Department of the Comptroller directly at jhobbs@carrollcountymd.gov or 410-386-2085.
