PRODUCT SPECIFICATION SHEET
Yard Storage Mezzanine
U.S. Coast Guard Yard Storage Mezzanine (potential requirements):
*Product Specification Sheet will be modified & corrected, once on-site visit is complete
1. Mezzanine shall have approximately the deck size of 45’by 28’ ft. Approx 1,100 square feet at a minimum
2. Mezzanine shall have approximately a clear height of 8’6” minimum
3. Mezzanine shall have approximately a deck height of 10’ minimum
4. Mezzanine shall be supported with a column size of 5” by 5” approximately
5. Mezzanine shall be supported with a base plate of 10” by 10” approximately
6. Mezzanine should have a minimum capacity of 150 lbs. per square feet
7. Mezzanine shall have (1) 10’ stairway that will meet OSHA standards with closed treads, 36” wide steps, and open risers.
8. Mezzanine shall have lighting brackets within 10ft of each other
9. Mezzanine shall have a handrail enclosing the mezzanine
10. Mezzanine shall have 4” tall kick plates enclosing the entire mezzanine
11. Mezzanine shall have (1) 6’ double swing gate
12. Mezzanine flooring shall approximately have 1 ½” high 22ga. corrugated steel decking (B) with sheets of ¾” ResinDek or alternative coating system, to be applied over “B” decking
13. Mezzanine shall be coated with a powder coated finish or other protective coating application.
14. Mezzanine shall be painted using a grey-colored coating application for all standard galvanized components
15. Mezzanine shall include a knee bracing
16. Mezzanine must be designed to have 1,000 lb. point loads or 3,000 lbs. on a pallet jack
17. Mezzanine shall have a minimum of a 1-year parts and labor warranty, to include the following: 1 calendar day response time for Mezzanine casualty during the warranty period and 3 calendar day delivery of replacements parts during the warranty period
18. Contractor shall replace all parts necessary to perform scheduled maintenance within the 1-year warranty period
19. Contractor shall provide an On-Site (USCG Yard, Baltimore, MD) Maintenance Repair Session
20. Mezzanine shall be built to comply with all federal, state, local, AISC & OSHA standards, and regulations.
21. Contractor shall provide weight test and certificate before acceptance.
22. Contractor shall provide all operator and maintenance manuals in digital (PDF) and paper formats before acceptance.
23. Contractor shall provide design drawing in digital (PDF) and paper formats before acceptance.
24. Contractor shall provide parts list in digital (PDF) and paper formats.
25. Contractor shall provide a contact for platform manufacturer
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
INSTALLATION OF MEZZANINE: Delivery date is estimated to be up to 17 weeks after awarded contract. Mezzanine acceptance will not occur until after completion of delivery, install, and final inspection, which will be the Government’s responsibility.
