About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details fire extinguisher maintenance services for the 418th Combat Sustainment Brigade, with a focus on comprehensive fire safety equipment servicing. The contractor is required to provide 100% compliant services including inspection, hydrostatic testing, recharging, certification, and demilitarization of fire extinguishers, adhering to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and applicable Army regulations. Key performance requirements include affixing inspection labels to each fire extinguisher upon service completion, maintaining detailed documentation of services performed, and submitting all inspection labels to the MAAF Fire Marshal.

The PWS outlines four primary performance requirement summaries (PRS): fire extinguisher services, compliance with hydrostatic testing and inspection regulations, documentation of inspection details, and demilitarization of fire extinguishers. Each requirement mandates 100% compliance, with contractor performance to be documented in the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPAR). The deliverables schedule specifies that inspection labels must be affixed to each fire extinguisher upon completion of service and submitted to the MAAF Fire Marshal.
