About this file

This synopsis announces the award of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Nuclear Weapons Center to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation. The contract has a ceiling value of $2.311.9 million and a period of performance from May 2021 through November 2039 to provide propulsion subsystem support for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. Key services under the contract include sustaining engineering, maintenance engineering, hardware and software maintenance, developmental and production engineering, and replenishment and repair activities related to boosters, liquids, support equipment, ordnance, and flight and ground batteries that comprise the Minuteman III propulsion subsystem. The contract was awarded on a sole source basis due to uncertainties that prevented a fixed price contract and will utilize cost reimbursement contract line items for initial sustainment and deliverables, with additional line items available for future task orders through 2039.
