Interface for Through-Spindle Coolant System (7 MPa (1,015 psi), Constant Pressure) (Separate Type) Interface for mounting the high-pressure coolant system (separate type). The electrical components and coolant piping are included. It supplies high-pressure coolant to the tool tip through the hole in the spindle and tool, which is effective in removing chips, cooling a machining point and prolonging a tool life. The high-pressure coolant command is issued by the M code or by pushing the button on the operation panel. Max. discharge pressure: 7 MPa (1,015 psi) *The high pressure coolant unit is not included. *Please prepare the power source supplied to the high pressure coolant unit separately. *When using the high-pressure coolant system, the machining accuracy may be influenced by a rise in the coolant temperature. Select the coolant chiller and mist collector to reduce the influence on the machining accuracy.

Through-spindle Coolant / Air (Switching Specifications) It allows switching between coolant and air to supply it to the tool tip via the through hole of the spindle and tool. It is effective in using the coolant and air differently for each machining and in removing chips on workpieces. The coolant/air can be switched using the soft key on the operation panel or the M codes. *It is necessary to select the through spindle coolant (center through) specification. *It is necessary to prepare the center through tool and retention knob. *Another air supply is required separately from the main air. Measuring / Monitoring Full-closed Loop Control for X/Y/Z-axis (Direct Scale Feedback) The magnetic scale is used for the X/Y/Z-axis position sensing, instead of the axis servomotor pulse encoder. The magnetic scale mounted parallel to each axis feeds back the machine position coordinates directly to the NC unit. Therefore, it is not susceptible to precision errors or thermal displacement of the balls screw of the feed axis. Air purge is provided to prevent dust intrusion. - Resolution: 0.01 µm (Magnescale)

In-machine Measuring System (Spindle) Optical Signal Transmission Type Touch Sensor (RENISHAW, OMP60) Using the optical touch sensor mounted on the spindle, the workpiece is positioned and the positions of the fixture and workpiece are measured. The workpiece coordinate values read by the touch sensor are transmitted using an infrared beam to the NC unit via the receiver installed inside the machine. Chips and coolant adhering to the receiver can be removed by air blowing. However, please clean the receiver periodically. Dirt on the receiver will cause a reception error alarm. When processing automated systems or ceramics, etc., please select a radio wave type touch sensor that does not generate a receiving alarm even if it gets dirty. The touch sensor is stored in the tool magazine and called to the spindle by automatic tool change. - Measuring direction: +X, -X, +Y, -Y, +Z *Depending on the shape of the workpiece or fixture, the communication with the receiver may be interrupted and may not be received. Please consult DMG MORI in advance as the installation position change or addition of the receiver, or the radio signal transmission type can be considered.

In-machine Measuring System (Table) Touch Sensor (Magnescale) (Tool Length Only) The touch sensor mounted on the table face automatically measures the tool length and detects the tool breakage. Direct air blow to the sensor prevents measurement of tools with chips or coolant adhering to them. TS40L2-063C (Magnescale)
