About this file
This document is a Sole Source Justification (SSJ) for the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) to procure a storage facility for government fleet vehicles and property in Charlotte, North Carolina. The contract will be awarded to Charlotte Airport Industrial, LLC, the incumbent vendor, for one base year and three option years. The justification states that this is the only vendor in proximity to the field office capable of meeting all requirements, including security and 24/7 access, with a facility already retrofitted to accommodate the USSS fleet.
The procurement will utilize simplified acquisition procedures under FAR 13.106, with the price to be determined fair and reasonable through comparison with market costs for space rental in the Charlotte area. The USSS intends to comply with public display and synopsis requirements, and the contract has been digitally approved by the Contracting Officer with a future dated signature of July 24, 2025. The total estimated contract value is not specified in the document, with a "$" placeholder in the estimated value field.
