About this file

This is a Price Page (Attachment E) for a Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) Request for Bid (RFB) 530634 for Transition Couplings, soliciting bids for various pipe transition coupling specifications. The bid covers eight different types of transition couplings with specific size ranges for connecting different pipe materials, including cast iron, ductile iron, and copper pipes, with estimated annual quantities ranging from 50 to 1,500 units per coupling type. The estimated quantities are based on a one-year period, with manufacturers specified as Smith-Blair, PowerSeal, Ford, JCM, Romac, and approved alternates.

The pricing sheet requires bidders to provide all-inclusive unit prices covering delivery, supplies, and mileage, with pricing to be held firm for the contract term. Vendors must submit invoices within 30 days of DWSD delivery receipt, and failure to complete the price page will result in bid disqualification. The document provides detailed specifications for each coupling, including pipe diameters, material compatibility, and acceptable manufacturer models, with a requirement for bidders to list their lead time for product delivery.
