About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document for a Barracks Pressure Washing solicitation issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Eustis. The solicitation (W91249-31000166911) seeks pressure washing services with specific requirements: work can be performed between 0930-1500 Monday-Friday, must be completed within one week, and will be awarded to the lowest bidder. Chemical requirements include using Sodium-Hypochlorite (Bleach), and the contractor must clean surfaces as reasonably possible without causing exterior building damage.
Key procurement details include a bid submission deadline of 18 September 2025 at 1100, with an anticipated award timeline of one week after solicitation close. Insurance requirements are left to the contractor's discretion, and bids must cover the total cost of service. The scope involves cleaning barracks surfaces, with an understanding that some long-set stains may leave residual shadowing despite continuous cleaning efforts. The contract will prioritize comprehensive service delivery at the lowest possible price point.
