MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

SUBJECT: Item Description, A24-053 Pressure Washer

The 76th AMXG/569th is requesting utilization of funds for the purchase of seven (7) Pressure Washers.

The requested equipment item descriptions/specifications are outlined below.

Seven (7) Electric Hot Water Pressure Washers, with the following specifications:

Shall have a rated water output of no less than gallons per minute at no less than 2900 psi at a temperature no lower than 135 degrees Fahrenheit.

Shall have a ½” diameter pressure reducing valve installed on the inlet side of the pressure washer that is capable of handling input pressure up to 200 psi.

Shall have minimum input power requirements of 480V/3ph/60hz with an operating current 85 amps minimum and amps maximum.

Shall have an electrical cord with a 4-pole 5-wire electrical plug compatible with a Hubbell HBL5100RS1W receptacle. Cord shall be at minimum 20’ long.

Shall have an electric motor of Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design with no less than horsepower.

Shall have

Shall have a NEMA 4 watertight main electrical enclosure with On/Off controls and indicator lights for the electric motor and heating element. Circuit breakers for the motor, primary transformer, and heating element circuits.

Shall have a wire braid outlet hose no shorter than 150' with diameter no less than 3/8 inch. Shorter hoses may be coupled together to attain the 150’ minimum length.

Shall have a manual rewind hose reel mounted to the cart frame. Reel shall be capable of storing the full length of hose previously described.

Shall have a pistol grip, trigger shut off gun with variable pressure lance and side handle.

Shall have three interchangeable wash tips of 0, 15, and 25 degree angles.

Shall have high temperature limit switch, pressure relief valve, water flow switch, temperature and pressure gauges.

Shall have an hour meter and shutdown timer.

Shall have a steel frame and a lifting bar with dual lifting eyes.

Shall be mounted on four (4) casters.
