Pre-Solicitation Notice Repair Hangar 36 – Test Stand Location: Selfridge ANGB, MI (48045)

Solicitation Number: W50S85-22-B-0004 Title: Repair Hangar 36 Restrictions: 100% Small Business Set Aside NAICS: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Size Standard: $39.5M Magnitude: Between $250,000 and $500,000.

General Description:

The work under this contract includes to provide electrical power supply, water supply, compressed air, exhaust system for Gov't furnished StringRay Parts Washer, Hydraulic Component Test Stand – HCT-12 (MHC and P&MTC) and electrical power supply for four (4) Maintenance stands. The work includes the installation of new 2.5 tons low ambient heat pump.

Brand Name Justification: No Brand Name Justification.

Instructions:

The projects magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business with NAICS 236220. For Small Business information see http://www.sba.gov/. The following NAICS code 236220 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. This requirement will be a Competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) and awarded as a firm-fixed price.

In accordance with FAR Part 14, 36, and FAR 19.805, the successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W50S85-22-B-0004 information will be advertised electronically on or about 15 July 2022 at Sam.gov with an anticipated award date of 30 Aug 2022. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price.

This proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The pre-solicitation is not to be

Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available. Closing is anticipated to be on or about 15 August 2022.

All interested parties must be registered in System for Award management (SAM) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A prior to the award. For details see https://www.sam.gov/. This may take many weeks, so it is highly recommended that interested parties register immediately in order to avoid any delays in award. No facsimile bids will be considered. No E-Mailed bids will be considered.

Contractors shall be fully qualified in all aspects of the requirements to be considered.
