NOTICE: This is a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with (IAW) FAR Subpart 5.2. This is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government, but rather a synopsis prepared IAW FAR 5.207 for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for services.

DESCRIPTION: Hill Air Force Base, AFSC OL:H/PZIMA intends to issue a RFP for the acquisition of Personal Protective Clothing (PPC). The anticipated period of performance will be 5 years with an option for 1 more year. The purpose of this contract is to provide compliant protective clothing services to the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price. More detail information can be found in the draft performance work statement (PWS).

Draft documents posted include the PWS and contract data requirements lists (CDRLs). Please submit requests to the POCs listed on this posting via email.

Foreign participation is not permitted.

RESPONSES: Interested parties may submit responses, by email, to the points of contact listed in this posting. Draft documents will be posted as they become available from now until RFP release. Government encourages vendor feedback on the draft documents. The Government anticipates releasing the official RFP on 17 August 2020; therefore, all responses to draft documents need to be submitted no later than 3 July 2020. Please submit questions as quickly as possible in order to allow the Government adequate time to answer. All Q&A will be provided to the public through this posting.
