About this file
This is a Presolicitation Notice for a Very High Frequency Lock-in Amplifier (VHFLI) acquisition by the Department of the Army Materiel Command, Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (Solicitation Number: W911QX26QA146). The notice announces the Army's intent to solicit competitive proposals for the development and/or procurement of a Very High Frequency Lock-in Amplifier system, with detailed technical specifications and requirements to be provided in the forthcoming Request for Proposals. The presolicitation provides interested contractors with advance notification to enable them to prepare for participation in the competitive bidding process.
The presolicitation establishes the foundation for a competitive acquisition vehicle and invites potential contractors to submit sources sought responses or expressions of interest prior to formal solicitation release. Contractors are encouraged to review the notice carefully and prepare their qualifications, technical capabilities, and pricing strategies in advance of the full solicitation announcement. The Army intends to award a firm-fixed-price or cost-plus contract based on the competitive evaluation of proposals received. Small business set-asides or other socioeconomic considerations may apply, as determined during the formal solicitation phase. Additional details regarding technical requirements, contract terms, evaluation criteria, and submission deadlines will be provided when the full RFP is released.
