Point of Contract: Tori Blunt Mayes, Contracting Officer email: tbluntmayes@blm.gov

Project Description: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) operated a Single Engine Airtanker (SEAT) Base at Tooele Valley Airport in Erda, Utah, from approximately 1997 to 2024. In August 2025, BLM conducted soil sampling at the SEAT base. The results indicated that the soil is not hazardous. The fill must be compacted to 90%.

Project Location: Work is located in Tooele County, UT. Former Tooele SEAT Base is located at the Tooele Valley Airport 5451 N 2400 W Erda, UT 84074 approximately 5 miles northwest of Tooele Utah near State Highway 138.
