This notice is NOT a solicitation for offers. No offers will be considered or accepted in response to this notice. The information requested by the Request for Information (RFI) is for market research and acquisition planning only; responses are voluntary and will not be reimbursed. Nothing in this notice shall be considered to have obligated the Government to any agreement or expenditure of appropriated funds.
The 366ᵗʰ Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), Elmore County, Idaho, is seeking responsible contractors to compete via forthcoming Invitation For Bid (IFB) for the removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement on Desert Street, between Aardvark Avenue and 2nd Avenue.
The purpose of the presolicitation notice is to stimulate the interest of the greatest number of prospective bidders in advance of the IFB.
The purpose of the RFI is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of the Small Business Community: Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) to include the 8(a) Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) Program, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Program, and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors.

The disclosure of the magnitude of the construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
