Pre-Solicitation Notice: The National Park Service (NPS), MWR NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a solicitation for the installation of a new propane-fueled generator, propane tank, and concrete pads for Minuteman Missile National Historic Site located in Phillip, SD. The acquisition will be conducted using Request for Quote (RFQ) process. The NPS intends to award a firm-fixed price, construction contract in response to this RFQ.

Project Location: Minuteman Missile National Historic Site, 24545 Cottonwood Road, Phillip, SD 57567 Project Description: The work consists of the installation of two new concrete pads, a new propane fueled generator, a 1K gallon propane tank, automatic transfer switch, service disconnect and with connections to the Visitor Center for proper operations.
Period of Performance: The government anticipates that work will begin in August 2022 with period of performance of 90 calendar days.
Magnitude: Between $50,000 to $150,000
Notice of Set Aside: This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Total Small Business
The associated NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wire Installation Contractors. The small business size standard is $16.5 million.
The official solicitation package and attachments will be issued on/about June 8, 2022 and will be posted to http://www.sam.gov. If this date is delayed, the solicitation will follow as soon as possible. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow. The responses will be due approximately 30 days after the RFQ issue date. The specific date and time will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice.
A Pre-Quote site visit will be scheduled, and the details announced with the release of the RFQ.
No hardcopies or email copies will be provided. Offerors must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and be registered and active in System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
