Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract

Notice Type: Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation Notice

Project Title: STSSC IDIQ for CSS and RMR

Current Places of Performance: Greater Denver, Colorado area and other designated locations.

Synopsis: The overall objective of this proposed commercial services IDIQ Contract is to provide science and technical support services required by the U.S. Geological Survey’s Rocky

Mountain Region.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), CSS and RMR Region mission area, has a requirement for non-personal services to be performed on and off-site for science and technical support. The science and technical support services are required in the following categories: Administrative;

Research Assistance; Research Analysis; Data and Information Management; Computer Systems

Administration, Operations, and Maintenance; Geospatial Applications, Modeling, and

Associated Technologies Web and Database Applications; Software Engineering; Scientific

High-Performance Computing; Technical Project Management.

Primary Product/Service Code: R499 – Support – Professional: Other

NAICS: 541990 – All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services

Set-Aside Information: This requirement is being offered for competition limited to eligible

8(a) participants. The solicitation will be issued without further notice to sam.gov, upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the section 8(a) program.

Estimated time frame of solicitation release: On or around February 7, 2022.

Proposed Contract Type: The Government contemplates award of a single Indefinite-Delivery

Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract that allows for the issuance of Firm-Fixed Price and/or

Labor-Hour Task Orders resulting from this solicitation.

Estimated Proposed Contract Magnitude: $48M Contract Ceiling

Proposed Contract Period of Performance: 5 years with a six (6) month option period.
