Andersen Air Force Base, Guam has a design-build construction requirement to replace the Aircraft Fire

Training Facility (AFTF) at North Ramp.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The contractor shall replace the Aircraft Fire Training Facility (AFTF) B3185 at North Ramp, Andersen

AFB, Guam. The work to be performed includes demolishing the existing dilapidated AFTF, removal of all existing utility piping, wiring, and unusable propane lines, and existing rock within the training pit.

Additional work includes constructing a wet deck leveling pad, footings and foundation for the new aircraft mock-up, replacement of all utility piping, wiring, propane lines, and drainage system, and installation of the aircraft mock-up. Tentative period of performance is 450 days.

Andersen AFB, Guam

TENTATIVE DATE OF ISSUE:

The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA524023R0018 and will be available for retrieval at sam.gov once posted on or about 18 April 2023.

RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS:

This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small

Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed

Price (FFP).

PLANS & INSPECTION:

Available planning documentation will be provided in the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be advertised in the solicitation.

The solicitation for this acquisition will be issued electronically and will be publicized via sam.gov.

Offers in response to the publicized solicitation for this acquisition shall be submitted on the Standard

Questions via telephone will not be accepted.

NOTICE TO OFFERORS:

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing of receipt of bids.
