Pre-Solicitation Notice

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has an upcoming requirement for the double chip seal re-paving of approximately 8.1 miles or 95,040 square yards of a portion of Heakel Road 27.5 miles south of
Safford, AZ.
The period of performance for this requirement is 120 calendar days.
The BLM expects to issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation in late July 2021.
The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. Davis Bacon Act
(DBA) is applicable and the appropriate DBA Wage Determination(s) will be included in the solicitation.
The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $39.5 million. All materials must be in accordance with the
Buy American Act.
A request for proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically at www.sam.gov and will be available for 30 days. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring beta.sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package and any solicitation amendments. The government will not provide paper copies or email the solicitation.
