Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) FAR Part 6.302-1 The property or services needed by the executive agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the executive agency

PPQ Florida has chosen P.M. Service Corporation in FT Lauderdale as sole vendor for this lease project primarily due to geographic location and the low rate quoted to our Support Services Technician. Following are reasons that justify this decision:

Vehicles will be staged at this lot for other offices throughout PPQ Florida, but given the high concentration of offices in the Southeast, FT Lauderdale is the perfect location.

A DETERMINATION BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER THAT THE

ANTICIPATED COST TO THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE FAIR AND

REASONABLE, AND THE BASIS FORTHAT DETERMINATION:

The price of $5.00per vehicle per day for parking is the price charged regularly to non- Governmental customers, and are provided by the vendor to the general public in substantial quantities in the course of normal business operations.

PPQ Filed Operations Hub Office worked directly with Chan Lam (Transportation Specialist, MRPBS) to compete the transportation services. The following Prices were provided by vendors to accomplish this work:

-Relocation of vehicles from Tampa, FL to Stark FL- $604.00 per vehicle.

-Relocation of vehicles from Fort Lauderdale to Vero Beach- $448.00 per vehicle.

-Relocation of vehicles from Ft. Lauderdale to Vero Beach-$392.00 per vehicle.

Potential cost= $50, 736.00

P M SERVICE CORP offered the their services at $200.00- Per vehicle

Potential Cost=$21,000.00 Potential Cost Savings= $30,000.00

This will not only provide a cost savings to the agency, but prevent any disruption in mission critical activities and the use of personnel to assist with transportation services.
