About this file

This document is a Calibration Standard Specification (CSS) for a Power Amplifier to be used by the Department of the Navy Metrology and Calibration Program. The Power Amplifier is a No Calibration Required (NCR) artifact intended to support the calibration of various test instruments in controlled environments at Depot Labs.

The key specifications for the Power Amplifier include a frequency range of 25 Hz to 1.2 GHz, a maximum power of 100 W, a gain range of 0 dB to 67 dB, a current range of 0 A to 100 A, and a voltage range of 10 V to 1,000 V. It must have Type N(f), 3.5 mm, and 2.4 mm connectors. The Navy is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice for interested and capable vendors to provide the Power Amplifier per the attached CSS. Responses are due by July 4, 2024 and should include company information, business size, pricing, and industry feedback on the CSS.
