Faro Quantum M Max Arm

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1.0 BACKGROUND

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Dahlgren Division (DD), Weapons control & Integration Department (H), Asymmetric Systems Division (H10), Disruptive Technologies Branch (H13) is tasked to deploy critical systems that enable US Forces to deny and degrade the warfighting capabilities of terrorists and insurgents in support of the Hydra Hunter Program. The Hydra Hunter program has a requirement to procure the Faro Quantum M Max arm. This system will allow the Hydra Hunter program to enhance the metrology scanning and afford the program the ability to reproduce parts that are no longer available from the manufacturer. The Hydra Hunter program currently has deployed equipment that is no longer supported by the manufacturer and replacement parts are no longer available. This system will allow for the exact reproduction of parts to keep the deployable systems operational until replacement systems can be sourced.
