About this file

This Sources Sought Notice is for a Postage Meter Lease for the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency, Montana. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is conducting market research to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) or Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) capable of providing three postage meters for daily mail processing at the hospital and satellite clinics. The contractor must be able to lease, install, and maintain the postage meter system, with regular scheduled maintenance and on-call support for unexpected issues.

The solicitation is set aside exclusively for ISBEEs under the Buy Indian Act, with specific requirements that the business must be at least 51% owned by Indians, Federally Recognized Indian Tribes, or Alaska Native Corporations, with management controlled by Indians. Interested firms must submit a detailed capability statement, including years of experience, relevant past contracts, and demonstration of Indian ownership and control. Responses are due by July 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM MDT, with the NAICS code 561499 (All Other Business Support Services). This is a market research effort to determine compliance with the Buy Indian Act and potential set-aside, not an actual request for quotation.
