About this file

This document summarizes a contract award for Contractor Logistics Support services for the Small Diameter Bomb Increment I weapon system. The United States Air Force awarded The Boeing Company a sole source contract valued at $33,004,252 to provide technical support and sustainment services for the SDB-I from March 2024 through June 2028. Boeing was selected as the incumbent contractor due to owning the proprietary technical data and maintaining the specialized engineering expertise required for the SDB-I hardware and software, for which they were the original equipment manufacturer. The contract consists of five ordering periods and requires Boeing to utilize its skill sets, test equipment, flight simulations, and computer programs to support the operation, maintenance, and analysis of the SDB-I until program conclusion.
