About this file

This is a Post-Award Public Notice documenting a sole source contract award by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to Tradespace Inc. for a technology transfer platform subscription. The contract, numbered 75F40126P00379, was awarded on September 23, 2026, for a total value of $82,000.00 as a firm-fixed-price purchase order under FAR Part 12 (Commercial Products and Services). The base performance period runs from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2027, with three optional one-year renewal periods extending through September 29, 2030. The contractor is located at 30 Fair Oaks Street, Apartment 3, San Francisco, California 94110, with UEI SAM UQ4QBB269XN5.

The FDA justified the sole source award under 41 U.S.C. § 3304(a)(1), citing that only Tradespace possessed the unique capability to meet the government's full combination of requirements. Tradespace must deliver platform access for one authorized FDA Technology Transfer Program staff member within 7 business days of award, along with an onboarding plan due within 3 business days. Required deliverables include initial live virtual training covering platform navigation, market intelligence search, invention assessments, commercialization reporting, and licensing partner identification, with ongoing access to self-service training resources. The contractor must provide real-time market intelligence data with patent analytics, automated commercialization reports, licensing partner identification tools, and portfolio management dashboards. Technical support must be available during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays) with a dedicated account manager assigned as the primary FDA contact. Market research confirmed no competing vendors could satisfy all technical requirements, and the contracting officer determined the $82,000.00 price is fair and reasonable based on comparison with Tradespace's commercial invoices. The FDA plans to continue monitoring the marketplace for alternative vendors and will evaluate opportunities to promote competition in future procurements.
