About this file

This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) for the Radio Communications 2018 Master Contract from the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). The PORFP is limited to Master Contractors that have been awarded a contract under the Radio Communications 2018 Master Contract (#060B7400088). The PORFP requests quotes for five (5) Motorola APX4000 Portable Radios, 700/800 MHz, p/n H51UCF9PW6AN. The proposal is due on 10/30/23 at 2pm ET, and the equipment must be delivered as soon as possible. The PORFP outlines the submission requirements, including providing the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and a Mercury Affidavit.

The PORFP does not have a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goal, and it does not indicate any set-aside for small businesses. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the ability to match the specifications and cost. The agency POC will recommend the award to the Master Contractor whose proposal is deemed the most advantageous to the State, considering price and the evaluation factors set forth in the PORFP.
