About this file

This is a Packaging Requirements form (AFMC Form 158) for Purchase Instrument Number FD20602600641-00, Version 1, establishing packaging and marking standards for military deliveries. The document applies MIL-STD-129 Revision R and MIL-STD-2073-1 Revision E standards.

The packaging requirements address three distinct line items: items 1560012966316UC and 1560012979975UC fall under PACRN AAA with MIL-STD-2073-1/SPI packaging at Preservation Level MIL and Packaging Level B (SPI F012979975, Revision 21244-01, dated September 2021), while item 1560DTL2601EEUC falls under PACRN AAB with no packaging data required. All wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked, heat-treated wood (heated to 56°C/133°F for 30 minutes minimum) with certification/marking by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC), in compliance with United Nations restrictions on wood packaging material (WPM) to prevent invasive species such as the pinewood nematode. Vendors must follow MIL-STD-2073-1 for military packaging standards and MIL-STD-129 for shipping and storage markings, with shipping containers marked to include unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) names, and OEM model numbers as specified on the AFMC Form 158. The packaging specialist Jason B. Kerr from 406 SCMS/GULAA generated this form on May 18, 2026.
