About this file
This document is an introductory cover page and instructional guidance for CDMRP (Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs) funding opportunity applications. The General Application Instructions (GAI) are designed to be used in conjunction with specific program announcements and serve as a companion document that provides detailed procedural guidance on application preparation and submission. While program announcements contain the basic information about what to submit, the GAI supplies the operational details regarding how to submit applications. Applicants must verify that the version of the GAI they are using matches the version specified on the front page of the relevant program announcement to ensure accurate referencing and compliance.
The document emphasizes the importance of accessing the GAI through hyperlinks provided in the program announcement and maintaining version consistency between the two documents to avoid procedural errors during the application submission process.
